Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum! Hollywood's latest fairy tale re-imagination, Jack the Giant Slayer, leads this Tuesday's pack of new release Blu-Rays. Directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns), Jack the Giant Slayer expands on the classic "Jack and the Beanstalk" story, as poor farmboy Jack (Nicolas Hoult) joins an expedition up a beanstalk to rescue a princess from CGI giants dwelling above the clouds.
Jack the Giant Slayer is released in two formats on Blu-Ray from Warner Bros. including a Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy, UltraViolet combo pack as well as a 3D edition that includes the standard combo pack discs.
20th Century Fox streets raunchy comedy 21 & Over today as well. 21 & Over come from the writers of The Hangover and follows a straight-A college student and his friends who drank a bit too much before an important exam. 21 & Over is packaged in a Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy combo pack.
The sequel to the 2010 horror film, The Last Exorcism Part II is the latest release from Sony Pictures. The Last Exorcism Part II continues where the previous film left off as Nell (Ashley Bell) is still tormented by demonic spirits. The Last Exorcism Part II is released as a single Blu-Ray disc.
Last up is Movie 43 (Outrageous Edition) from 20th Century Fox. Movie 43 is an ensemble comedy starring Emma Stone, Gerard Butler, Elizabeth Banks and Chloe Grace Moretz. This Blu-Ray, DVD, UltraViolet combo pack offers two cuts of the movie.
