BLU-RAY TUESDAY: 'Burt Wonderstone' Sets to Upstage Halle Berry's "Call" Thriller on Blu-Ray

Halle Berry and Steve Carrell are both top-tier actors in their own right, but neither The Call nor The Incredible Burt Wonderstone spark a great interest in theaters this past spring. Both films make their way to Blu-Ray this week.

As Vegas magician Burt Wonderstone, Steve Carrell clashes with a street magican (Jim Carrey), while attempting to reunite with his former partner played by Steve Buscemi. Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin and James Gandolfini round out the ensemble cast.

Warner Bros. streets The Incredible Burt Wonderstone as a 2-disc combo pack featuring Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy and UltraViolet codes.

The other major Blu-Ray release this week, The Call stars Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin and WWE's David Otunga and is produced by WWE Studios. Berry works in a 911 dispatch center and is troubled by inadvertently escalating a kidnapping. When the kidnapper strikes again, this time holding Abigail Breslin's character hostage, Berry is determined not to make the mistake a second time.

The Call is released as a 2-disc Blu-Ray, DVD, UltraViolet combo pack from Sony Pictures.

Universal Pictures is also releasing a wave of 16 comic-themed steelbooks, many of which were previously exclusive to Walmart back in early May and later in June, Target and Best Buy. Titles include: Hulk (2003), The Incredible Hulk, Death Race, Doom, Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, Van Helsing, Serenity, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Big Lebowski, Paul, Shaun of the Dead, The Mummy (1999), Hot Fuzz, Scarface (1983) and Hellboy II: The Golden Army.
